Welcome to Dinmore Cottage in Reeth, the heart of Swaledale; tucked away on a cobbled walkway just off the village green, with views to Harkerside. Around 200 years old it retains a cosy and quirky cottage feel but is fully equipped for two people with all the home comforts you need for a proper, relaxing time away in glorious Yorkshire Dales surroundings.
Downstairs there is a comfortable lounge with a log burner and dining area and a separate fully equipped kitchen. Up the short flight of stairs is a light and airy bedroom and the bathroom with bath and drench shower. Outside is a suntrap seating area and a useful lockable cycle shed.

Things to do in the Area
There is a lot on offer around Dinmore Cottage. We’re certain you’ll be able to find plenty of fun activites or relaxing experiences nearby.

There are numerous walking and cycling routes around Swaledale available from the front door. Bikes can be hired in nearby Fremington at Dales Bike Centre. Wensleydale and Wharfedale are within easy reach.
Reeth has plenty of cafes and pubs, a post office, village stores, gift shops, an ice-cream parlour, bakery and a deli. Further details are available in the cottage.
There is a local Congregational church which has services every Sunday morning and evening.
The popular market towns of Leyburn, Richmond and Barnard Castle are all within 30 minutes’ drive from the cottage.
There is a good selection of maps, guide books, destination and attraction leaflets in the cottage. Reeth Tourist Information Office is just across the green.

Hopefully Dinmore is available on the dates you want. Please check our availability calendar and to reserve your stay just fill in the contact form on this site and send that to us. We will be in touch promptly to confirm your reservation. Short stays of 2 nights minimum (low season), 4 nights minimum (high season) and longer bookings are available. Arrival for all stays is after 4pm with departure by 10am please.
